Ways to create a Great resume
5. I remember I saw a resume of a Product Manager from IIT Delhi. He has not worked in any big companies in his career, but he has mentioned investors' names like Sequoia Capital or SoftBank. Just because of the investor's name, I trust those companies and the guy. So, add the investor's name if your company is funded.
4. Once I've seen a 7-page resume, what do you think I'll read his full resume? I will tell you the truth. HR will just skim your resume and decide whether to call you or not, so the Maximum size of a resume is two pages.
3. I have seen many people list responsibilities in their resumes, but in this world, no one cares about responsibility; they care about impact and who you have worked with.
2. Remove the summary; just think of it like a billboard. No one reads the first few lines of your billboard. Ask any HR, do they read the summary first or view your experience first? 99% say experience first. So, remove the summary or add it at the end of the resume.
1. You can add the projects and online because that will show you are interested in that particular field.
If you are from an IIT, IIM, or NIT, you can add that to the top of your resume for the first 5 years of your career. It will help you to get shortlisted.
If you need help becoming a Product Manager, you can message me. I would love to help you.
