MBA won’t make you a Product Manager. But one real project might change your career.
3. I will be very honest with you, no one cares about which college you have studied at, IIT or IIM, but what matters, very honestly, is what products or projects you have worked on.
2. MBA will teach you frameworks, but when you have to build a real product, it will teach you how to make decisions and how to work with designers, developers, etc.
1. No one will teach you about how to take the product in real life But when you launch the product, you will gain an understanding of the customer and what they want from your product.
If you are not at a Tier-1 college, do one thing: build a complete, working app for your idea.
You can hire one intern to build the product for you, then showcase it to the public.
That Project will open all doors of Product management for you.

Gaurav A. Couldn’t agree more. Books can prepare you, but building prepares your heart and mindset for product work.
Shipping something even small changes how you think forever.
I would say don’t wait to get into PM rather start acting like one by building something real. 👍
