"Mature men who are 31+, please drop one piece of advice to men 18-30"
I recently saw this on Twitter.
Here's my response (applies to all genders, not just men):
1. Take care of your body
In your 20s you eat a lot of junk food and because of that you will face issues in your mid 30s So eat healthy foods and do workout for 1 hr everyday
Respect your body.
2. As much as you fall in love with the face, fall in love with the mind as well.
In our 20s, we are mostly driven by looks.
We look for attractive men and women as our potential partners.
Life teaches you to fall in love with the mind because you are going to spend most of your life in your mind, not with your face.
3. Use money to buy your freedom. Not to buy things that make you a forever slave.
I have seen many people spending 20K per month for buying expensive clothes, Watches or Bike etc.
But they will never spend 5K on the course which can help them to increase salary.
4. Investment
This is a controversial one.
I read a book many years back, Rich Dad Poor Dad, that teaches the biggest creator of Gold is your mind and not stocks on any company If you are less than 15 LPA job in India, then first invest money on your mind, then invest in the stock Market.
5. Meditate
The biggest thing in life is emotional regulation.
I do meditation in the morning; it helps me to increase my memory power.
Spend time with yourself.
Every single day.
Just you and your thoughts.
It is hard.
But it is necessary. .
