We were discussing how Mastercard operates.
She was sharing how people think Mastercard operates in a very different manner than others think, but she is also telling them to bring all stakeholders onto one page, which is the hardest part of the job.
As our conversation continued, she mentioned that she is currently seeking a Director of Product role.

I'm wondering if the emphasis on stakeholder alignment overshadows the actual product innovation. Is it possible that the heightened focus on consensus stifles creativity and new ideas in fast-paced environments like Mastercard
