I remember my first interview: It was a complete disaster.
It’s been a long time since I gave my first interview for a Product intern position.
#Day40 of #helpingAspiringPMs100Days
I still remember the HR’s first question: “What is Software Development Life Cycle?”
And I had no clue because I’d decided just the night before that I wanted to become a Product Manager.
The most interesting part? I was so desperate to land a Product job that I refused to leave that office without an offer letter.
3 things I learned from this experience
→ Interviews teach you exactly what the market expects from you.
→ Just learning tools and best practices isn’t enough; you need to master the art of interviewing.
→ Landing a job offer is a numbers game—it’s all about how many interviews you can secure.
Speaking frankly, if you want that offer letter, aim for 5-7 interview calls. After your 7th interview, you’ll likely get an offer.

That first interview always humbles you, but it also lights a fire. Totally agree — the best prep is actually doing interviews. Love how you turned a 'disaster' into direction.
