I know a girl who is at 5 LPA, but she is better than many candidates who are earning more than 30 LPA.
#Day14 of #HelpingAspiringPMs100Days
What is the difference between someone who earns 5 LPA vs. someone who earns 30 LPA?
→ It is not all about skills
→ It is also about how many switches you have made
I have seen many people with 10 years or more of experience in the tech industry who earn less than 30 LPA.
They have only one regret: that they didn’t make many switches. Because of that, they didn’t get a high salary.
So, what is the right formula for switching a company?
→ After completing 2 years in one company, then every 1.25 years, you should make a switch to a different company.
And never tell the interviewer that you are changing jobs for the higher salary.
