For some, Kashmir is a paradise.
But for many… it'll be a curse from now on.
This photo broke me from the inside.
Just imagine, a couple went to Kashmir to escape their problems, to spend just 2 days in peace. They had been saving money for 3 months, planning this trip for 6 months, all for a few moments of happiness together.
But instead of joy, someone stole half their life.
They had left their problems behind for 2 days… and someone came and snatched away their biggest support, their only happiness.
And left behind a pain for which there’s no medicine.
A pain that stays with them forever.
And do you know what hurts the most?
You can’t even question the one who took your partner.
You can’t show them your pain.
You can’t get angry.
You can’t hit back.
You won’t ever see them again.
Maybe one day the government will just say:
“He’s been killed.”
Or, “He ran away.”
That’s it.
And now, the life you had, the life you planned—will never be the same.
You went to live your best moments with your partner…
But now you’ll return home alone, with nothing but trauma.
And this is just one story.
25 more are still wandering the streets of Kashmir—unheard, unseen.
My deepest condolences to the family and everyone affected by this pain.
No words can heal such a wound, but I hope INDIA never forgets their story.
