An IIT Delhi graduate with a Mechanical Engineering degree and an MBA from FMS—on the verge of ending his life. Why? His company is shutting down. This shook me.
I often hear students say, 'I’m not from IIT' or 'I haven’t done an MBA from IIM.' But here’s a guy with the best degrees—B. Tech from IIT Delhi and an MBA from FMS—yet, he’s still struggling. Why does this happen?
3 Reasons the super-talented people from IIT, NIT, or IIMs struggle in their life.
• They were not very hard during their college time, and once you have completed your degree, everyone in this world has to earn money, and then you didn’t get that time to improve.
• Once the degree is completed, then you don’t get those placement opportunities that these colleges provide.
• I have seen many people who didn’t get a great start even after graduating from top institutions. However, the only way to grow in such a situation is with the right guidance. I, too, didn’t have the best start, but once I received the right guidance, it made a significant difference in my life.
I will say 2 things.
• If you are still in college, then work hard as you can get better opportunities.
• If you have completed your college, then take guidance from some Right person who can help you to excel in your career.
