A lot of my friends ask me "How do I get started in product management when I don't have any product management experience." That's a fair question. After all, why would someone hire you if you don't know how to build great product? Many people don't realize that companies worldwide are always hiring Product Managers, especially when it comes to an entry-level APMs jobs. You see, sometimes it's much easier to hire someone with new experience and train them up as a Product management experts. It's not a skill they teach in school. And the only way to truly learn it is by experience. The good news is that the skills required to become a product manager aren't too challenging to learn. It's pretty simple to learn how to manage stakeholders, create sprints and basic understanding of tech. But the hard part is sticking with it even when faced with challenges and rejection. If you lack product experience, know you can make up for it with an optimistic attitude and the willingness to learn and break from your comfort zone. #productmanager #product #productmanagement
